Job Description
No prior pest control experience is required. We are hiring full-time and part-time, on-site pest control technicians. This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional hotel stays up to 2 nights a week. Full-time technicians are scheduled up to 4 or 5 days a week while part-time technicians are scheduled up to 2 or 3 days a week. Hours, schedule, and travel requirements vary based on assignment.
Responsibilities
• Conduct unit/property inspections & perform chemical applications following all safety protocols.
• Perform pest control services for bed bugs, roaches, ants, spiders, mice, and other common pests.
• Accurately document each service in detail using a digital system on an iPad.
• Lift and move furniture throughout the workday, including beds, couches, sectionals, and recliners.
• Walk and work across large properties and multi-story buildings while carrying equipment.
• Communicate professionally with clients, property staff & residents, and CPC team members.
• Educate property staff and residents on pest behavior, prevention, and follow-up procedures.
Requirements
• High level of responsibility for the health & safety of yourself and others.
• Valid United States driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites, including drives of 3+ hours with occasional overnight hotel stays (up to 2 nights per week).
• Reliable personal transportation preferred; reimbursement for personal vehicle use is provided.
• Ability to work independently and follow all treatment, safety, & legal protocols closely.
• Ability to move and lift heavy furniture repeatedly as needed for pest control services.
• Ability to make repetitive motions, kneel, or crouch while performing services.
• Ability to walk and work across large properties & multi-story buildings while carrying equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, professional demeanor in frequent interactions with clients, property staff & residents, and CPC team members.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain pesticide applicator licenses & certifications; company provides training, schedules exams, and covers all fees.
• Basic tablet proficiency for service documentation and email communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
